Baby Shower Projects Continued...

I'm having MAJOR homecoming flashbacks!

I've been working on Lorie's door mum and I can't help but have high school homecoming flashbacks! Ha ha!! I'm almost done with it...I'm still pondering a few tweaks..but the overall look-of-it is done! One project down...three more to go...and just 2 weeks left til shower time!

I started with three white frames and letters that I printed from my computer. The baby's name will be Mya so I printed the three letters in a cute font that I downloaded recently. I went back across the letters with a Sharpie to "fatten" them up a bit..and then cut them out. **Yes I know...ghetto fabulous...but I have to freestyle-it since I do not own a Cricut!**

I cut out pink-glittery-scrap-book paper for the background of the letters and placed both in the frames for a test run....

I then found my handy-dandy black spray paint...and sprayed them shiny-happy black!

I then began hot-gluing ribbon onto a rectangle-shaped piece of cardboard. I found a lot of different types of ribbon in Mya's nursery colors as well as a few extras such as a hot-pink boa!
Snazzy! I also hot-glued flowers to the frames and ran a ribbon through all three of the frames and hot glued the backs of each for added support.

 Then...finally...a somewhat FINISHED PROJECT!! YAAAAAAAAAY!
