Happiness…

We have almost spent our first complete week in Alpine. And we are loving every second of it. I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I had a few Mamma panic moments of…am I doing the right thing? Is this too much for Jaxon to handle? Are we going to be okay? And all the other doubts a single Mamma could ever have about moving to a new place….3 hours away.

But….it has been absolutely wonderful. I’ve reunited with friends who live in this area…as well as with my friends from my classes. We are surrounded my so many awesome people. We’ve already done so many neat things…and it’s just week one.

I’ve definitely said a few “Thank you so much dear God for making this happen for us” moments. I’m so incredibly blessed.

And my Jax….is loving it.

He has a totally rad new backyard…and he’s explored every inch. (yes…in his wee-wears and boots…that’s how we roll!)

This smile…is all that matters to me.

Yesterday we went to a local museum and he saw a Pterodactyl and a bear…and all kinds of cool things. I didn’t take my camera…so we’ll have to make another trip. He LOVED it! The man working there was shocked that he could name the different dinosaurs. He doesn’t know about Dino Dan I don’t guess! =)

We have forts to visit, observatories to look at the stars, mountains to hike…and so much more.

Our life is so full here…and to top it off….

I’m expanding my photography company to include a full studio…with art classes for children and adults…and all kinds of other extras.

I’m slowly unpacking and getting settled…doing homework (because yes I’m taking summer grad classes that are stomping me)…and trying to set up my business.

I can’t wait to share it with you when it’s all ready to roll!
